The right recommendation,
for the right reason.
We specialise in websites, SEO and digital growth — but we don’t assume every business needs the same thing. We take time to understand what is actually holding you back, then recommend the most sensible next step.
We don’t sell services.
We solve problems.
Most digital agencies will sell you whatever they offer. We start somewhere different — with an honest look at where your business is and what it actually needs to move forward. Sometimes that’s SEO. Sometimes it’s a better website. Sometimes it’s both. Occasionally, the real issue sits outside marketing altogether. The discovery call exists to work that out before either of us commits to anything.
Four questions that shape
every recommendation.
Before recommending anything, we look at the business from four practical angles. The answers help us decide whether you need marketing, a stronger digital foundation, broader business guidance — or a combination.
How is your website?
Your website is the foundation. If it’s slow, unclear, or losing visitors before they enquire, adding SEO on top of it is pouring water into a leaking bucket. We’ll look at your current site honestly and tell you what we find.
- Is it fast and mobile-friendly?
- Does it clearly explain what you do and where?
- Is it built in WordPress?
- Would a visitor trust it enough to call?
Where do you rank right now?
If your site is solid and you’re just invisible in search results, the answer is SEO. If you’re ranking but not converting, the website needs attention first. We look at both before making any recommendation.
- Are competitors outranking you locally?
- Is your Google Business Profile active?
- Have you had any SEO work done before?
- Where are your leads currently coming from?
How are enquiries and sales performing?
Visibility is only useful if the right enquiries arrive and convert. We look at how customers currently find you, what happens next, and whether the real problem is traffic, conversion, follow-up or the offer itself.
- Where do your best leads come from?
- Are enquiries converting consistently?
- Is your offer easy to understand?
- Where does the customer journey break down?
What is getting in the way of growth?
Sometimes the obstacle is digital visibility. Sometimes it is pricing, positioning, capacity, systems or too much dependence on the owner. We will not force a marketing solution onto a wider business problem.
- Has growth stalled despite staying busy?
- Are you carrying too much personally?
- Are systems or capacity limiting progress?
- Would an experienced second opinion help?
How we work
out what’s needed.
Every enquiry starts with a free 30-minute call. Some people already know they want a website or SEO. Others need help understanding the wider problem. Either way, we keep the first step simple.
Discovery Call
30 minutes. We look at your website, Google visibility, how enquiries currently arrive, what you want to achieve and where growth appears to be slowing. No pitch. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about what is working and what is not.
Free · 30 minutes · Zero obligationHonest Assessment
We tell you what we actually think. If your site needs work before SEO makes sense, we’ll say so. If the website is solid and visibility is the issue, we’ll say that instead. If marketing is not the real problem, we may suggest a broader Business Growth Conversation with Melissa.
No upselling · Straight talkingClear Recommendation
You’ll leave the call knowing what we believe the most sensible next step is. That might be SEO, a website, both in the right order, or a separate Business Growth Advisory conversation. Advisory is an option when useful — never a prerequisite.
No jargon · Straightforward pricingWe Get Started
If you’re happy to proceed, we begin with the route you have chosen. Website and SEO clients move directly into the relevant onboarding process. Advisory clients begin separately with Melissa. You only use the services that make sense for your business.
No lengthy contracts · 30-day notice to cancelFour common situations.
One honest answer each.
Most businesses we speak to fit one of these starting points. Choose the one closest to your situation — without worrying that Business Growth Advisory is required before you can access our website or SEO services.
You have a solid site but no visibility
Your website is well built, professional, and converts visitors — you’re just not getting found. Competitors are outranking you in Google Maps and search results and you want that to change.
- WordPress site, working well
- Low rankings or no Google presence
- Relying on word of mouth or paid ads
- Want consistent inbound leads without ad spend
Your site isn’t doing your business justice
You know your current website isn’t good enough. It’s slow, outdated, or doesn’t reflect the quality of your work. Before SEO will stick, the foundations need to be right.
- Old or non-WordPress site
- Not mobile-friendly or slow to load
- No clear service pages or location content
- Visitors aren’t enquiring when they land
You need both — in the right order
You need a new website built with SEO in from day one, and then a managed SEO service to grow its visibility month by month. This is the most common path for new clients.
- Web design from £595
- Built in WordPress, SEO-ready from launch
- SEO service begins immediately after go-live
- One agency handling both, no handoff confusion
You’re not convinced marketing is the real issue
Growth has stalled, the business feels harder than it should, or you want an experienced commercial perspective before investing in another marketing service.
- Unclear positioning, pricing or priorities
- Too much dependence on the owner
- Enquiries arrive but do not convert consistently
- Need clarity before committing to implementation
No surprises.
No agency theatre.
Whichever route you choose, here’s what you can expect from the working relationship.
Clear ownership
For implementation projects, we handle the agreed work from our end. For advisory, responsibilities and next steps are made equally clear. You always know who is doing what.
Useful updates
SEO clients receive clear monthly reporting. Website and advisory clients receive updates suited to the work rather than generic agency reports that add noise without clarity.
Honest updates
If something isn’t working or we’d recommend a change in direction, we’ll tell you. We’d rather have a straight conversation than keep quiet and let things drift.
No long contracts
No minimum term on SEO. 30 days notice to cancel. We keep clients because the work compounds and results grow — not because we’ve locked anyone in.
We’ll tell you if we’re
not the right fit.
Local SEO compounds over months, not days. Most clients see meaningful movement in three to six months, with the biggest gains coming from consistent work over time. If you need results next week, paid ads may serve you better and we’ll say so. If marketing is not the main constraint, we will say that too.
We only take on a small number of clients at any time. That’s what allows us to stay consistent, stay on top of the work, and deliver what we promise. If we’re at capacity when you get in touch, we’ll let you know.
