Working with Local Edge Digital
You do not need to know which service you need.
Tell us what is happening in the business, what you want to change and what you have already tried. We will look at the commercial and digital picture, then recommend the smallest sensible next step.
No scripted pitch. No obligation. No need to diagnose the problem yourself.
The difference
We start with the business—not a package
A lack of growth can look like a marketing problem when the real constraint is somewhere else. More traffic will not fix unclear pricing, weak follow-up, poor margins, insufficient capacity or a website that loses trust.
Equally, a well-run service business can be held back simply because too few suitable customers can find it. That is when a stronger website, SEO or Google Business Profile work becomes commercially useful.
- If the current website can be improved without rebuilding it, we will say so.
- If SEO is unlikely to repay the investment in your market, we will say so.
- If the main problem is pricing, positioning, conversion or capacity, we will not disguise it as a traffic problem.
- If the opportunity is strong, we can turn the recommendation into working pages, systems and search visibility.

Four sensible starting points
Where does your business actually sit?
Most enquiries fall into one of these situations. You can begin directly with web design or SEO; business advisory is available when the wider commercial question needs answering first.
The business is better than the website
Your site looks dated, feels generic, works poorly on mobile or fails to show why customers should choose you.
- New WordPress websites from £595
- Structure, design and copy handled for you
- Built around real services, locations and enquiries
The website is sound but barely visible
The site is credible and converts, but competitors appear above it in Google, Maps or increasingly in AI-assisted search.
- Current visibility and competition reviewed
- Website, content and Google Profile developed together
- Progress measured against useful searches and enquiries
Both the foundation and visibility need work
A new site is planned around search from the beginning, then strengthened after launch instead of handing SEO an unsuitable template to repair.
- Search and competitor research before design
- Service and location architecture built in
- One joined-up implementation rather than agency hand-offs
Marketing may not be the real constraint
The business is busy but stuck, margins are unclear, enquiries are mishandled or too much still depends on the owner.
- Commercial review led by Melissa
- Pricing, positioning, capacity and systems considered
- A clearer priority before committing to implementation
From first message to useful work
Exactly what happens next
The first stage is deliberately light. We gather enough information to have a useful conversation—not enough to bury you in forms.
Send the basics
Your business name, website, main service, target area and the result you want.
We look first
We inspect the visible website, search landscape and obvious gaps before speaking.
Have a direct call
We discuss what is working, what feels stuck and what has already been tried.
Get a recommendation
You receive our view of what should happen first, what can wait and why.
Choose whether to act
If the fit is right, we agree the scope, cost, responsibilities and start date.
The first conversation is not a disguised strategy invoice.
It is a fit and direction call. More detailed research or advisory work is scoped separately when required.
Who you actually work with
Commercial perspective and digital implementation
Local Edge Digital is deliberately small. The people discussing the problem are the people responsible for the recommendation and delivery.

Timelines and expectations
Useful clarity before you commit
Different work moves at different speeds. We give a realistic start date and explain what depends on your input before accepting the project.
A focused single-location website typically takes around two to three weeks once the required information, access and images are available. Larger sites take longer.
Early movement can appear within weeks, but meaningful and more stable improvement usually takes months. Competition and the starting position matter.
Initial corrections can be made quickly; authority, reviews and consistent activity are ongoing rather than a one-off switch.
The first review is a focused piece of work. Any further support or implementation is chosen separately rather than assumed.
Worth saying plainly: nobody credible can guarantee a Google position or an exact number of enquiries. We can explain the opportunity, show the work, track movement and point to real results achieved for other businesses. We will not present an exceptional case study as a promise of your outcome.

The questions that usually matter
Do I have to start with Business Growth Advisory?
No. If you clearly need a website, SEO or Google Business Profile work, you can begin there. Advisory is useful when the wider business constraint needs clarifying; it is not a gatekeeping exercise.
Will I own the website?
Yes. Once the agreed project fees are paid, the website and its content belong to your business. Hosting, licences and ongoing support are separate, and you are not trapped because Local Edge built it.
Do you require a long SEO contract?
No minimum term is used for SEO; ongoing work can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. SEO still needs enough time to produce useful evidence, so the likely timescale is discussed honestly before starting.
Will you work with a direct competitor in my area?
Where there is a genuine conflict involving the same service and local market, we will identify it before work begins. We do not want two clients paying us to compete for the same customer.
What if you think I do not need the service I ask about?
We will tell you. The current site may be good enough, SEO may not be the priority or the actual problem may sit in pricing, positioning, conversion or capacity.
Start with the problem, not the package
Tell us what you want to change.
Send your business name, website, main service, target area and the result you want. We will take a first look and arrange a direct conversation if there appears to be a useful fit.
No pressure. No mystery package. No expectation that you arrive with the answer.
